Throwback to the France, Germany and Poland Tripartite Seminar in Warsaw
21 Jun 2024 | Newsletter
Last April, the French, German and Polish groups met in Warsaw for their traditional joint IP event.
Over two days, the groups addressed questions in Patents, Trademarks, Designs and Copyright, such as preliminary measures in IP matters in the UPC and national court practices, the repair clause, landmark EPO Boards of Appeal decisions, and the new bestseller clause.
Each panel included members representing France, Germany and Poland. Distinguished guest included speakers from the EU Commission, the UPC, the PPO and the Ukrainian Group, who all shared their insights. In addition, the Young Members had the opportunity to introduce two topics: Indirect infringement of IP rights in cross-border situations, and Enforcement of financial claims in IP matters.
Warm thanks to the Polish Group for the great organization!
