AIPPI UAE Group in cooperation with strategic partners, including but not limited to: Brand Protection Group (Gulf BPG), Emirates Intellectual Property Association (EIPA), the UAE Ministry of Economy, Dubai Customs and Dahi Khalfan IP Academy, supported a regional IP forum called Glimpse on the Future of IP.
The event aimed to gather an assembly of thought leaders, IP governmental and law enforcement agencies, practitioners, innovators, business owners, and policymakers to advocate and comment on the new era for IP, coping with challenges and work on transformative opportunities to enhance the IP protection in the region. To achieve this, the event was designed to enhance dialogue, intergovernmental coordination, exchange ideas on how to foresee the IP & Tech and build bridges for collaborative efforts to deal with challenges. The message out of this event was clear and loud, the way forward is in investing with protection of intellectual property and the UAE will continue to prioritize this objective in spite of all risks and obstacles. Registrants were able to listen to keynote speakers and panels. Many interesting thoughts were discussed and networking with high-rank decision makers was also possible.
The event was well attended and it was held at the landmark venue (The Museum of Future) in Dubai. This place was devoted to innovative and futuristic ideologies. With its 23 floors, the Museum is dedicated to exploring the future of science, technology, and innovation with emphasis on the UAE’s vision to continue its ambition and remain the regional hub for knowledge and innovation. Attendees were able to visit the venue and witness one of the fascinating places in the world that combines arts and technology.
