AIPPI Türkiye National Group will organise an International IP Seminar in İstanbul

AIPPI Türkiye National Group has organized an International IP Seminar, with the title “Sertaç Köksaldı – 6^th Intellectual Property Seminar”, which will take place on 3^rd-4^th of April 2025 at İstanbul Naval Museum.

The seminar, which is open for attendees from Türkiye and overseas, is a two-day event with presentations addressing various subjects related to IP rights under the shed of Turkish and international practice, doctrine and legislation. Similar to the first five seminars in previous years, the Seminar aims to bring together patent and trademark attorneys, lawyers, judges, government officials, in-house professionals and academicians from all over the world.

The subjects to be addressed with presentations by IP professionals from Türkiye and overseas are as follows:

• Intellectual Property Law in Context of Artificial Intelligence
• Anti-Counterfeiting and Recent Challenges
• Second Year of the UPC: Diverse Perspectives on EPO Implementations
• Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods in Intellectual Property Law
• Online Trademark Infringement
• Post Grant Opposition in Patents
• Legislative Updates on Designs: EU Design Reform and WIPO Design Law Treaty

As in previous years, this year’s seminar will also include a mock trial with the participation of retired judges, lawyers and academicians.
