The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) is pleased to announce that the 11th edition of IP Week @ SG will be taking place on 6 – 7 September 2022 at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.

Themed “Ideas to Assets: Charting our Future with IP”, IP Week @ SG 2022 will draw out the opportunities and considerations for businesses, and how IP is a key driver in an economy that is increasingly driven by intangible assets. The hybrid event last year attracted more than 10,000 participants from over 50 countries, of which more than 40% were from the business community.

The anchor conference, Global Forum on Intellectual Property® (GFIP®) is a two-day multi-disciplinary forum where senior business leaders, policy makers, heads of IP Offices, lawyers and academics converge to discuss and debate cutting edge issues surrounding IP in the innovation cycle. This year, GFIP®, will highlight how enterprises can seize the present possibilities for future business
growth, covering themes such as non-fungible tokens and the metaverse, sustainability, intangible
asset valuation, and patenting eligibility.

Aside from GFIP®, the activities at the IP Marketplace as well as our various our partner
events allow ample opportunities for business and IP professions to network and connect with
