Panel Sessions for the 2019 AIPPI World Congress in London

The 2019 AIPPI World Congress in London will feature an exciting and varied lineup of professional development programming. The traditional “Pharma Day” will offer four sessions dedicated to current issues in the pharmaceutical industry:  pay for delay, an international perspective on patent linkage, SPCs and patent term extensions, and antibodies and epitope/competitive claims. The Panel Sessions will address a wide variety of topics including descriptive use as a defense to trademark infringement, platform liability and safe harbor, patents and artificial intelligence, a mock trial on design infringement, and many others.

In addition to the panel and Pharma Day sessions, there will be three ticketed lunch sessions featuring an update from Director Iancu of the USPTO, a discussion of “Greenwashing” and fashion, and a spotlight on innovation in Africa.
