Call for proposals

EUIPO has published a call for proposals aimed at supporting awareness-raising initiatives on the value and benefits of intellectual property (IP), and on the damage caused by infringements. This was included in the Observatory WP2017 (PA2). This call follows the first one published by the Office in 2015, further to which 11 projects were awarded with the grant.
It aims to increase knowledge and to engage priority audiences to develop respect for IP, with a view to ultimately change people’s behaviour by reducing their purchase of counterfeits and their access of digital content from illegal sources.

The Office targets three defined audiences: children at schools, young citizens (15-30 years) and policy/decision makers and opinion leaders. Applicants should explain how they intend to measure the results of their action and which target audience they aim to reach.

The total amount of support available for 2017 will be EUR 1,000,000.

The deadline for submission is 25 September 2017 before 13:00 (CET)
