Sheena Jacob is a highly-ranked leading intellectual property and technology professional with more than 25 years of experience in the IP and technology field. She works with technology companies and innovative businesses, helping them build and extract value from their global IP assets.
Sheena constantly places herself on the cutting-edge of IP rights, managing complex IP litigation matters, with the support of strong litigators. Most recently, she spearheaded a multi-jurisdictional and groundbreaking case on 3D shape trade marks in Singapore for one of the world’s leading companies.
Sheena’s practice is wide-ranging and covers a broad range of industries, from high tech, to life sciences and media. She has acted for Government organizations and statutory boards, Fortune 500 companies and start ups. She also represents non-profit organizations in their policy and lobbying efforts.
Sheena is the immediate past President of Licensing Executives Singapore from 2013-2015 and a current Board member, a member of the Singapore AIPPI Exco, a committee member of INTA and AIPLA. She also served on the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
Sheena is qualified to practice law across three continents, in Singapore, New York and England & Wales. As such, she is uniquely placed to understand and assist international companies doing business in Asia.
Sheena has been identified as a leading lawyer in various publications, including Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal Patents and Trade Marks, Chambers, AsiaLaw, World Trademark Review and Euromoney Expert Guides. She speaks regularly at international conferences and is a thought leader in her field.
Sheena graduated from the National University of Singapore and also holds a Masters in Law in Trade Regulation from New York University School of Law.
