Dr. Ralph Nack is a partner of Noerr LLP, a leading German full service law firm. He co-heads the Patent Group of Noerr LLP, based in Munich.
Ralph is ranked as a leading German IP attorney, specialized on patent litigation, patent licensing, employees’ invention law and patent monetization systems. He advises clients in all fields of technology, with a focus on electronics, telecommunication, medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
Ralph studied law in Heidelberg, Munich, Washington DC (George Washington University) and Tokyo (Todai University). He received his PhD in patent law from the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich. Before joining private practice, he served as the founding Program Director of the Munich Intellectual Property Law Centre (MIPLC). As an attorney, Ralph lived in China for more than one year, handling international patent litigations in this country.
Ralph is a lecturer of patent law at the University of Munich and at the MIPLC, and the author of many scientific publications in the field of patent law. He regularly speaks at international conferences, and serves as Assistant Reporter General of AIPPI.
