Leonore Ryan

Formerly of CSIRO and Cardihab (AU)

 

Leonore Ryan is a business builder who works with research teams to identify and build business opportunities for their technologies. She also works with startups on IP strategy, capital raising, due diligence and negotiations.

Leonore knows what it takes to create and run a digital health business. In 2016 Leonore founded Cardihab, the first spin out from the CSIRO ON Accelerator program. Cardihab provides healthcare organisations with the ability to deliver more convenient and flexible cardiac rehabilitation services to patients. In 2017, Cardihab raised $1.35m from investors.

Leonore has over 15 years' experience in technology commercialisation and IP management, with roles at CSIRO, Starfish Ventures and Monash University. Achievements include leading the team that won the $100,000 Peter Doherty Prize for Innovation.

Leonore holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of Sydney and a Masters of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School. She is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
