Panel Sessions for the 2017 AIPPI World Congress in Sydney

The preparations for the Professional Development Programme of the 2017 AIPPI World Congress in Sydney are well under way. The Congress will offer 16 Panel Sessions with expert moderators and speakers over three days (Sunday, October 15 through Tuesday, October 17). They will cover a wide array of topical issues in IP law such as IP and sport, FRAND, post-grant proceedings, partial designs, intermediary liability, copyright and music, Big Data and trade secret theft. There will be three ticketed Lunch Sessions covering development of the IP system in China, recent developments in the EPO, and Brexit and the UPC. Pharma Day will offer four panel sessions dedicated to current issues in the pharmaceutical industry such as the concept of plausibility, medical devices and patents, digital health and the availability of injunctions.
