Activities: Co-director of the Nexa center for Internet and Society at the Torino Politechnic (http://nexa.polito.it/). He served as a member of the EU High Level Group on Digital and was several times called as an expert witness by the European and Italian Parliaments on the subject of patents in biotechnology, on the Italian Industrial Property Code and now on the Eu Copyright Code. He has extensively given conferences abroad, including in Cleveland, Brisbane and Shanghai. His publications include the Trattato dei marchi.
