Professor of IP Law, University of Parma and lawyer, included in international directories as a leading IP litigator. Name Partner and founder of IP Law Galli, a highly specialized boutique law firm, with main offices in Milan and branch offices in Brescia, Parma and Verona, dealing with important litigation in Europe regarding all branches of IP Law, often tackling cross-border problems. He obtained the first Italian rulings in biotech patents and computer implemented inventions and key decisions on renowned trademarks and pharmaceutical patents. Since 2005 he has been appointed Member of all the Governmental Commissions in charge of drafting the new Italian IP rules, including the 2010 Reform of the Italian IP Code. He also took part in the process that led Italy to joining the UPC and the drafting of the Rop and is advising major companies on the implementation of the new Italian IP tax regime (Patent Box).
